Dear Supporters,
In Erie and other local communities, people are lining up at food pantries as early as 4 hours before they open. As many of you are aware, the Federal government shutdown caused SNAP benefits to be frozen without any leeway, effective November 1.
In response, CCCAS created an Amazon Wishlist. The Wishlist includes essential, non-perishable food items and much-needed family supplies such as diapers.
Items on the Wishlist will support our clients and help to alleviate the pressures on other Erie community resources. These items are delivered directly to our office and will be distributed to our refugee clients, focusing on those with the most critical needs.
